Dawn Foster
A local folk singer/songwriter from the Lake District, Dawn Foster has played in Australia and is a regular performer in the local music scene. Recorded: Two albums, most recently ‘All the Things That You Do’ which incorporates several accompaniments that I arranged for her. Several of the recordings have been aired on West Virginia Radio, and Dawn is destined to tour the UK with her music in the upcoming year. “Recording with Rob is a cross between being in a professional studio and going to your mate's for a cuppa tea and a good time! Both the equipment and skill that Rob has are outstanding. He really knows what he's doing when it comes to recording and sound engineering but also has a great musical mind and his ideas for backing vocals have transformed my songs into something I never imagined possible! You immediately feel welcome and the whole experience is very relaxed and enjoyable. I'm now busy writing new songs and can't wait to get recording again!” |

Wooden Leg Ceilidh Band Based in South Lakes, this is a popular Ceilidh band within Cumbria and the North Lancs area. They regularly play for weddings and other special occasions. Recorded: An album comprising a variety of well known Irish and traditional folk tunes. Their CD is now sold at their live performances. "We had great fun doing the recording. Some of the instruments, like the Bodhran, Melodeon and Guitar were quite harsh in the pre-recording sessions. Rob, however put a lot of effort into balancing the microphones correctly and we were pleased with the overall depth and richness of sound that was achieved in the final mix." Play Sample |

Papillon Based in Manchester, Papillon perform their original works around London and the North West. Recorded: A variety of original works for use on the web and promotion of their music. "When we recorded our demo with Rob, we learned a lot, we had a great day and left genuinly excited about our sound. The recordings that Rob provided us with helped us to get gigs at some leading Manchester venues which in hand led us to setting up the four piece that was Papillon.
